Company history

EKO-FLOR began its work in the 1997 as the handicraft for collecting, sorting and transport of municipal waste.

In the 2001 we have established the company EKO-FLOR PLUS d.o.o.

In the 2003 our branch – office in the Republic of Macedonia began its work as the first private comunal company in that area.

In the 2004, by establishing of the company EKO-RITAM d.o.o. (formerly Trgopromet Tomaško d.o.o.), we have expanded our activities in the segment of motor oils transport, septic tanks emptying, cleaning and maintaining separators and fat collectors. The investment in composting place in Kloštar Ivanić has provided us to expand our offer by using of harmless and biodegradable waste.

Inside the group in the 2006 we have established Municipal vehicle service and Department for desinfection, desinsection and deratization and we have also taken one of the leading positions in this activity regarding collecting of all kinds of waste.

In the year 2006 we have joined to the group the company Müll-Trans d.o.o. and, in this way, we have strenghtend the Sector for collecting and caring for secondary raw materials. We have also developed the activity regarding improvment of sanitary conditions of wild dumps. In the same year the company has joined the project for collecting and caring for packing waste that was started by The environmental protection and energy efficiency fund. As the one of the leading collector at national level we have made a considerable contribution to the project implementation.

Establishing a company in Republic of Serbia in 2007., we have also expanded our activity in the region.

In the year 2008. we have joined to the group the company Trgosirovina d.o.o., Draiva d.o.o., and part of the company Nevkoš d.o.o. And also in the year 2008. established Regional center Slavonija, Osijek. In the year 2009. the company headquarter moved into a new building and new location in Gornji Stupnik.
